Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Routinafy mobile application, website, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (the “Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Routinafy, and if you are a minor you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Health & medical disclaimer

• Coach AI fatigue analysis, recovery diagnosis, muscle heatmaps, BMR/TDEE estimates, and training recommendations are estimates generated by algorithms and AI. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, or substitute for advice from a physician, physiotherapist, dietitian, or certified coach.
• “Recovery diagnosis” refers to an estimate of training readiness, not a medical diagnosis of any condition or injury.
• Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, injury, or take medication.
• Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort.
• You exercise at your own risk and are solely responsible for choosing loads, technique, and safe training conditions, including the use of a spotter.
• AI-parsed workouts may contain errors. Always review sets, reps, and weights before training.

3. License grant (End User License Agreement)

Subject to these Terms, Routinafy grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download, install, and use the app on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial fitness purposes, and as permitted by the usage rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play.

You may not:

• copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the app;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except where applicable law expressly permits;
• rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the app;
• circumvent any subscription, paywall, or technical protection measures;
• use automated means to access the Services or scrape data, or use the Services to build a competing product.

The app is licensed, not sold. Routinafy and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including all software, designs, trademarks, and the Routinafy name and logo.

4. Your account

You can register with an email address or Google Sign-In (and Sign in with Apple, where available). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information, including body metrics, as inaccurate data may lead to inaccurate estimates. Notify us at support@routinafy.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Subscriptions, auto-renewal & billing

Routinafy offers a free tier and the following optional paid plans (prices in USD; local prices may vary by region and include applicable taxes):

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Routinafy does not process or store your payment card details. Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat for entitlement verification.
• Auto-renewal: Monthly Pro and Annual Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Free trials: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
• Price changes: we will notify you in advance of any price change as required by the App Store or Google Play, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Lifetime access grants Pro features for the lifetime of the Routinafy product (not your lifetime) for the account that purchased it, and is non-transferable.

6. Cancellation & refunds

How to cancel

• Apple App Store: open the Settings app → tap your name → Subscriptions → Routinafy → Cancel Subscription.
• Google Play: open the Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Routinafy → Cancel.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. Deleting the app or your Routinafy account does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel through the store.

Refunds

Because purchases are processed by Apple and Google, refunds are handled by them under their respective policies. You may request a refund via reportaproblem.apple.com or via Google Play’s order history. Except where required by law, fees already paid for partial billing periods are non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right of withdrawal you may have under consumer law in your country.

7. AI features

The Workout Scanner uses Google Gemini AI to convert images into structured workouts, and Coach AI uses AI models to analyze your training. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it. You must only submit images you have the right to use, and must not submit images containing sensitive information about other people. 8. Third-party services

Optional integrations such as Strava and the export of Garmin-compatible .FIT files are provided for your convenience. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Routinafy is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices. Strava and Garmin are trademarks of their respective owners; Routinafy is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of the workouts, notes, images, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant Routinafy a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Services to you. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for the limited periods described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by:

• violating any law or third-party rights;
• uploading malicious code, or interfering with the security or operation of the Services;
• uploading unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
• attempting to access other users’ accounts or data;
• abusing AI features, for example by automated bulk submissions.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTINAFY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR RELIANCE ON ANY RECOMMENDATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify Routinafy against claims arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes, suspension & termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. We may modify or discontinue features; if we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Additional terms for Apple users

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, the following also applies:

• These Terms are between you and Routinafy only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property infringement claims.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Your use of the app must also comply with Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Google Play’s Terms of Service, as applicable.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Routinafy is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer residing in the EEA, UK, or another country with mandatory consumer protection laws, you keep the protection of those laws and may bring claims in your local courts. Before filing a claim, please contact us at support@routinafy.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
